pregnant?

Hi, I fear I may be pregnant but i'm not sure. I am a week late for my period and exactly a week later I saw a small amount of light pink blood when I used the restroom. I woke the next morning (today) with more light pink blood but later in the day, there was hardly anything. My lower abdomen aches and I have a couple cramps here and there like I am having a period but there is hardly any blood. I don't see any clots either. I don't know what to think. I have been working out a little more vigorously for maybe 2 weeks. Is this enough to disrupt my hormone levels and change my cycle? I have never had a period like this much less a week later than usual. Please help!

take an hpt if your period is late. if it's negative make an appointment with your ob/gyn for an appointment there could be something medically wrong that needs attention.

I imagine that amount of vigorous exercise might be enough to disrupt your hormones, but if I were you, I'd get a home pregnancy test as soon as possible to be sure. Sometimes light spotting like that can signal implantation of a pregnancy. I've been pregnant a few times, but unfortunately only miscarried. But the color of the blood around that time for a couple of days was pinkish. (I've also heard it can be brownish.) Good luck! I hope it works out best for you!

If you've been having unprotected sex, you could be.  Why not take a pregnancy test?
