Lozza,

I'm sorry, I didn't go and check your profile.  I JUST saw your OTHER post and realized that you AREN'T a teen-ager!!

PLEASE forget about the post above. :{

Since this is out of the ordinary for you, then you DEFINITELY need to go to the Gynecologist OR OBGYN, as Ashleyanne said, and have this checked out.  There's a number of different things that could be going on.  It could be cysts or endometriosis OR something else.

I HOPE that you will let us know what you find out and how you are doing.

We'll be looking for your update............Sherry  :)

Hi lozza,

First I want to welcome you to the Pain Management Forum and let you know that we are glad you found this Forum. I want to let you know that there are NO Doctors on this Forum only CP - Chronic Pain - Patients that help each other with our OWN expertise and experiences that we have developed through our OWN CP Issues.

I'm assuming that you are either a pre-teen or a teen-ager as you have just begun to have your periods.  When you FIRST start to have your periods they can be VERY heavy OR very light OR very dark, etc.  In other words they can change a lot at the start.

You need to go to your Mom and talk to her and let her know what's happening with your periods.  She can make an appointment for you with a Gynecologist, if she thinks that you need to see one OR with your Family Doctor, AGAIN if she thinks it's appropriate.

In answer to your question, I DOUBT that anything is wrong BUT that's why you need to talk with your Mom.  :)

IF I miss read your post and this was NOT your first period, then I'm sorry.  BUT it sounds as it you had your first period.  Is that correct?

Good luck, Sweetie..............Sherry  :)
