persistent yeast

About a week+ after finishing a course of amoxicilin I was having itching and burning over the holidays so I self treated with a 3-day cream. This gave me a little relief but symptoms continued, I also did not clean the applicator or put each insert in until very late at night. I then did a course of augmentin. I went to the dr. and was diagnosed with a relatively mild yeast infection and given a diflucan. A week later I was still having symptoms so I was given another diflucan. I took that on Tuesday and it's now Saturday and while it's gotten a little better I'm still itching and have a little bit of discharge. I am so done with this thing but my Doctor's office is closed on the weekends. Should I try another OTC 3 day treatment?

I have since seen my Doctor several times and have had trouble kicking the yeast. I had testing done for diabetes today so we'll see how that turns out. I have recently noticed some papule formations in my inner labia above and around my urethra and vaginal opening. I have not noticed these papule formations before and they have left me very nervous. Since i've been suffering from the persistent yeast, I've had several pelvic exams. Could this be yeast related or is it more likely HPV?

1. Wouldn't my doctor have noticed if I had developed genital warts? I have had two exams for yeast since I first noticed them.

2. Could these papules be related to the marathon yeast infection, related irritation or something? They don't look like the images of genital warts I found online, but most of those cases were more extreme.

3. If I were to have very mild warts what would be the risk of passing them on? I read that most HPV is cleared up on its own and that I should just not worry about it? Hard to do.

4. The exposure from which I most likely would've contracted HPV was not sex, but genital to genital contact. There was skin to skin contact throughout my vagina but the papules have only shown up in the area near my vaginal opening.

5. I've gotten the Gardasil vaccine, does that mean that, if I did contract genital warts, it would be a weird, persistent strain?
