Telling partner about thrush

so i've been seeing this great guy for about 5 months. i didn't tell him i have thrush as i'm embassed by it. we have had un protective sex once or twice but i believe he has got it too just around the head of the penis, they are little lumps, nothing that stands out unless you look closely. I don't know when i first notice it.
i've just finished a round of treatment with canesten and a thrush oral pill.
How can i tell him the best way possible with out me feeling really bad and embassed about maybe giving him an infection?

Thrush is just an overgrowth of yeast.  Nothing to be embarressed about.  could happen to anyone.  So tell him that.  I had an overgrowth of yeast which caused thrush and you may now have that as well.  Talk to your doctor.  That's life.   You just gotta do these things when you are sexually active, have unprotected sex and have something that can be passed on.
good luck.  (take deep breath, and matter of factly tell him and not in an embarressed way.  It is what it is.)
