what could this be?
I am on birth control pills (never really had a problem with them) and for the past few weeks I have been on 2 different antibiotics (Augmentin 875mg) and (Doxycycline 100mg) I am also supposedly positive for Lymes Disease. I had unproteced sex with my boyfriend at like around 1:30 or 2 am and suring and after I had bleeding until about early afternoon the same day (today) I feel like I have cramps. and I hear that the medicine I was on could effect the birth control method (pills) which I knew wasn't the brightest decision but I had forgotten about this until after. I usually get my period this Tuesday or Wed. which would be the 9th or 10th. Since the bleeing wasn't even for a day could this be my period? Ive also been under sooo much stress this past month and had also gotten a Pap Smear on Wed of this week ( the 3rd) and had brown discharge from this wed and also had brown discharge the day we had sex...im going crazy will someone please help?
this unprotected sex was this past sunday (yesterday) at about 1 or 2:30 am. and I took the pill at 10am this morning and will take the next one at 10pm.
Usually it only takes about 4-7 days for the egg to implant so that's when you would notice the bleeding. It is usually light pink and very light, it could be brown but normally brown blood is old blood.
How many days has it been since you had unprotected sex? Plan B is only effective within 72 hours of sex.
Either way, you are freaking out for no reason here, you can guess all you want but you will need to wait and take a test to be sure.

Hello: I was reading your story. I agree with GRose that the ovulation does happen at day 14 of your cycle. If u were pregnant it takes 8-10 days after conception before u get any signs of implantation blood and from what I hear it's brownish discharge. When I was pregnant with my twins I don't even remember if I got any implantation bleeding. Maybe I did and thought it was my period. I guess everyone is different. I hope that this will help you. The beginning of your cycle is the first day of your period so if you dont have your period yet you are at the end of your cycle.
Most women ovulate around cycle day 14.
Only 1 out of 3 women actually get implantation bleeding, it is usually VERY light and doesn't last days.
I cant tell you what the bleeding is, no one can, all you can do at this point is wait it out. Take a test if your period is late.

thank you again...I am sorry I have so many questions...could this have been implantation bleeding? (I just heard about this from someone else on another forum, that is why I am going crazy and am curious about it) my blood during and after sex? that only lasted less then a day?...the last time my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex was about a little over 3 weeks ago before this time...could I have gotten pregnant that time and not have known? and this is implantation bleeding? what does implantation bleeding look like? and when does the usually occur?
it would be the beginning of my cycle because normally I get my period on tuesday or wed. and instead the bleeding that happened during and after sex was early morning sunday. 130am or 2am around...

I do miss doses of birth control at times, and double dose if I miss it...I try not to obviously but sometimes you just forget. I never not take one all together though...I know that and I have also been through sooo much stress and its been totally taking a toll on me... I am so scared though because it was a good amount of blood during and then after and stopped around mid afternoon I also put a tampon in after that and there was a tiny bit of blood on there too... but if it was a period wouldn't it keep going? do you think it will come back? could I be pregnant? I went to the CVS pharmacy to talk to a pharmasist and she said it could be any of those things... could also be that he teared something (it was rough) but I usually do not bleed during sex unless its my menstrual period. Im totally going nuts over here.

Antibiotics can mess with your birth control as I'm sure you are aware. I would say that was either the beginning of your period or break through bleeding. Since you are at the end of your cycle it is very unlikely that you got pregnant.

the bleeding was not just spotting...it was bleeding.
