I have brown spotting, late period, and negative tests, what could it be?

I have had regular periods for four years straight . In May I was put on birth control and I've still been regular. I ended my last period on July 21st had a lot of sex the next day and then got a uti three days later which would be the 24th and had sex that day too. On the 29th I started bleeding brown blood and figured it was associated with the uti.Around August third everything cleared up with antibiotics but now I'm 8 days late and having some brown discharge ( maybe 3 drops a day) for three days . I've taken 2 home pregnancy tests on days one and two of my missed period but they came out negative
I can't get a blood test because my mom doesn't know I'm having sex. What should I do?

hi,  Well, you risk pregnancy every time you have unprotected sex.  Sometimes we ovulate out of whack and we get an negative test because we tested earlier than we thought we should.  But I doubt you are pregnant.  Antibiotics and not feeling well can delay a period.  That's common.  Periods are often late when we are sick, worried, stressed, gained weight or lose weight, have a change in routine, etc.  Brown spotting is old blood.  So, wait week and take a test but just think your body is being off and acting weird and will soon get on track again.  good luck
