MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
HI,
Bleeding several years after a hysterectomy can be due to granulation that grows at the site of suturing in the vaginal vault. It can also be due to growths in the vagina like polyps or cancer. Hence an examination with a gynaecologist and Pap smear are necessary to find out the cause of bleeding.
The answer is based on information provided. Exact advice is not possible without a proper examination and investigations. You are requested to consult your Doctor. Take care and keep us posted.
