pain and greenish yellow pus like discharge from vagina

I'm 24 and sexually active and for about two weeks now I've been having a horrible, sharp pain in my pelvic area. It started the day after I ended my period and I had used scented tampons for the first time cause that's what my bf bought for me. There's no burning or itching but just yesterday I went to the bathroom and noticed a pus like discharge down there... other than that besides the pain I've had no other adoptions. this pain is made worse when I urinate, make a bowl movement and unbearable when I have sex, which I have stopped btw. I'm afraid something is seriously wrong with me and it hurts so bad I'm afraid to go to the doc for them to poke and prod and just make the pain worse. What could be causing this.

Sounds like an STD and perhaps it is Trichomonas. I would got to the Doctor to get an STD test. Don't worry though, you should be fine :) Most STDs are easily treatable.
