Odd period and symptoms

Has anyone ever had NOT a normal period, one just totally out of wack compared to what u usually have and tested after u got off and had a positive without waiting till your next AF????

Yes, day one of your cycle is the first day of your period.  Fourteen days would be the 25th because 11 + 14 = 25.  However, they are finding a lot of women ovulate around day 7.  When a woman ovulates is not clockwork, however.  You could ovulate on day 8, 9, 10, 11, etc.  Each woman's cycle is different.  These figures (day 7/day 14) are statistical averages of a sample population at the time a study is conducted rather than when each and every woman in the study ovulated.

And when people say u ovulate 14 days after your period is that from the first day of your period???????  So if I started on the 11th 14 days would be 23 or 24th....
