what is the cause of yellowish greenish vaginal discharge?

what is the cause of yellowish greenish vaginal discharge? I DID do see my dr. and received a rx for oral medication one tablet for one week but was told on the third day take another one due to haveing a bad yeast infection. i have not returned to the dr but i still have a discharge it started out yellow but now is a greenish color. can you tell me why or what is the cause for this problem?

Return to your doctor for further testing.

Did your doctor take a swab to verify that it is a yeast infection? Sometimes yeast can be resistant and need additional treatment...or it could be something other than yeast. Whatever the case, you need further testing to figure out what it is and treatment until it is completely gone.
