Me and my husband discussed how a female should wipe after using the restroom. I was told by my doctor to wipe fromt to back vagina to rectom. I know that I am right but he wants proof that I am.

I concur with you, mbyrd and also with ireneo, that if you want a healthy genital area starts with a correct wiping procedure. If we are taught to do that to our children, why should the rule change when it's about adults? Mbyrd, keep your grounds! Hubby, you missed some parenting lessons, I see...

It's all very logical. If you start in the middle and wipe back to front, you could drag some fecal matter across the vagina or urethra and trigger an infection. No one wants that. And men don't wipe, they shake.
