i used to get these alot. yeast infections..i think they are just when bacteria get down there or something. when i went to my ob/gyn she told me to put some baking soda in the water, it did help a bit...but be careful, too many baths with it can dry you out too much which is more problems. i feel for you, i hate them so much. its awkward but when i didnt have a bath tub and only a shower i had to take a wet facecloth and leave it down there, im not sure how it helped but it somewhat soothed it atleast a little(can help with UTI's too...its murder when you have both cuz ur itchy but gotta stay away when u have a uti). good luck, i hope i helped atleast a little

Take a nice warm bath with witch hazel and salt in it and soak for 15 minutes this will take the itch away. You can buy topical itching cream and topical freezing cream. You can buy test kits from Vagisil that tell you if you have a yeast infection or something more serious. You should eat a lot of yogurt and only wear clean cotton underwear. Wash once a day with a feminine wash or even a baby shampoo. Yeast infections are caused by lots of things having unprotected sex with someone (guys sometimes carry yeast infections), or  taking antibiotics can cause them because they take all the bad and good bacteria out of you. You can always have a vaginal exam at your doctors and he/she can determine what it is and give you medication to clear it up.

Are you having any strange discharge too, clumpy etc? Does that area itch quite a lot? If so then it sounds like a yeast infection. You can buy treatments over the counter...you can get creams for the itch that you use externally and you can get a pill or a pessary to treat it inside. You could also go see your doctor or speak to a pharmacist if you're not sure.
