How long does the cyst go away.i,ve had it for 7 months and its not going away.should I worry? The doctor said it will go on its own.i feel a small

I had a really weird bleed lasting &!terrible pains along with an early period and pregnancy symptoms
I was convinced it was a miscarriage , anyway at the doctors he told me ine thinks it was a burst overian cyst
I don't know how long it was there or what the next step is ? Very confusing
