Holter Monitor Results and Skipped Beats

Please tell me what the following means:
Underlying predominant rhythm is sinus. No episodes of atrial fibrillation. Average heart rate is 78 bpm. Range 52-138 bpm.
Normal AV and IV conduction.
Rare PAC's and rare PVC's are seen
No significant R-R pauses are seen.
No significant arrhythmias are seen.
Symptoms of "skipped beats/anxiety/indigestion/heart pain/stomach growling," recorded in the diary accompany sinus rhythm. Impression: Benign Study

And if this means my holter test came back normal...
1. Could there still be something wrong or between this, blood tests, and a normal ekg in the doctor's office should I stop worrying about it?
2. What is causing this!!  I've had these for years but just once in a great while. Now I have been averaging about 30-50 a day. At least that many happened when I was on the monitor.  Thank you so much. This is really causing me stress and affecting my ability to work because of worry about what is going on

To all of you who posted comments about my entry on Heart Palps, thank you so much. I couldn't choose a best answer. You all had great ideas. I'm doing better now and have "relaxed," and not allowed myself to be my own worst enemy in worry and anxiety. Hope you all are doing well and getting encouraged by each other.

Conclusion: Normal (as stated above).

We all have some premature beats (PACs and/or PVCs) through 24 hours, our heart rate speeds up with exercise and slows down with sleep.

You don't have any conduction disturbances, you don't have any arrhythmias, and no pauses in the heart rhythm. No atrial fibrillation (grossly irregular heart rhythm).

As long as you had the symptoms during the recording, it's concluded that this is not dangerous.

A Holter monitoring can't rule out every heart disease in the book, but along with a normal EKG, hopefully a careful examination by your cardiologist where you told him all your symptoms, and blood tests, you are as close as you can get. I hope your blood pressure is normal.

30-50 per day of pac's or pvc's are probably what everyone in the world may feel - looks like your hr is fine also; and your symptoms don't seem alarming but always ask your dr - if you haven't had blood tests there may be something low with your levels causing these

Many of us would trade our 5,000 - 50,000 arrhythmia's daily for 30-50 per day =) try to find if you have any environmental or lifestyle triggers, such as stress, caffeine, sleep deprivation, alcohol etc

If it makes you feel any better, I've done normal things and lived a normal life with 10,000 20,000, 40,000 & even 50,000 pvc's Vtach, PSVT and been fine =) it wasn't until I developed non ischemic cardiomyopathy and my EF went way down that my life was affected...

I agree w. Debbiers comments one hundred percent...it looks like you got the green light w. the Holter results.  If it were me i definately would relax alot here....sounds like you have some pretty pro active doctors on your side and they ran all of the applicable tests.  Stress is a huge huge factor in getting palps and benign issues w. our hearts and between that and anxiety it can definately set things off.  Sometimes i think its hard for us to accept what docs and tests tell us and we are our own worst enemy.  It may very well be that you didn't get a complete exit consult with the doc and may want to call his/her office and ask them to schedule in 20 minutes for you so that you can have a sit down w. the doc and ask questions that you have written down one by one.  Good luck but sounds to me like you already have it w. your test results.

Your monitor results seems insignificant for anything serious, It appears normal. How long did you wear the monitor?  The results does not state how many Pac/Pvc's you had in that period.  Per the notes when you felt like you were having any symptoms your were in normal rythm.  It could be indigestion or reflux instead of your heart.  I would try to stop worrying.  If you did not experience all your symptoms while wearing the monitor you can always ask to have one for a longer period of time.  Good Luck!
