a visual diagnosis of herpes is wrong 1/3 of the time. you'll need to pursue further testing to find out if indeed you do have genital herpes and if it's hsv1 or hsv2. You and your partner can both get type specific herpes igg blood testing done to see who has what for starters.

yes you can breast feed with genital herpes.

did they also diagnose you with a vaginal infection at the same time - yeast or bacteria ( bv )?

they just said its vaginal herpes they didn't do any test the just said dat it looks lik dat and diagnosed it but it's not going to be a problem to breast feed my son. I'm kinda lost does it spread only with symtoms or without symptoms as well.

you tried to post on the experts forum in someone else's post so it was bumped over to here.

were you diagnosed as having genital herpes?   I'm sorry but I have no idea what tv vaginalites herpes is. what testing did you have done?

if you have genital herpes, breast feeding is not an issue.

if english isn't your native language, http://www.ihmf.com/general/resources03a.asp  has info in spanish for you.
