For me it took eliminating gluten and dairy. I used to go home from work sick all the time from my stomach issues and now if I have a rare exposure to gluten then yes I get the symptoms again which tells me it is directly related to diet and I can control it. Do you know which foods you suspect to cause problems? You could start by eliminating them one by one and see the progress
Hi Unhappy92, I've been suffering with anxiety related IBS my whole life so I understand a little of your struggle. You sound like you need someone to talk to. Maybe try to make friends online or see a therapist online, since leaving the house can be a hassle with this illness? You have so much to live for.. don't let this disease get the best of you. Make solid plans for your future, and maybe find another doctor to help treat you that can be a little more caring about your situation.
