Same here!

I have been having the same recurring pain. It first present with a fullness in my stomach that keeps getting fuller! Then I belch a lot. And I know this is going to sound strange, but the belches taste a little minty, even though I haven't eaten anything with mint in it.  Then the waves of pain start in my upper stomach (just below the sternum). The pain seems to radiate to my back also. My stomach, just below my sternum, gets so tender and tight, I cannot even touch it. It is hard to breath and I find myself breathing shallow. It feels like I have a softball in my stomach. It seems like everything stops-can't pass gas, no stools, can't eat or drink. moving make the waves of pain come back.  The only thing that helps is heat and lying still. The pain wakes me up at night. It usually last two to three days, then my intestines start rumbling again, I can pass gas, and have a bowel movement of pencil thin stools. My stomach stays sore and tender for days after.
These episodes have been ocurring off and on for several years, but lately, more close together.  The first three times it happened I went to the ER, but nothing was found for the pain.
I have tried to connect these episodes with foods, or drink, but nothing adds up.  I have eliminated most foods from my diet, red meat, as much fat as I can, alcohol, increased fresh foods, etc. I don't seem to get acid with the episodes.

I had a CT Scan and it showed gallbladder disease.  I Thank Goodness for the gallbladder acting up and the move for a CT scan, because they also found a tumor attached to the outside wall of the junction between the esophagus and the stomach. They think it might be a liposarcoma.  It is now 3x3x6 cm.  I am scheduled for surgery as soon as the antibiotics start working on the massive infection in my gallbladder.  Geeeesh!  I really did not know that I was that ill.  Even my WBC was normal.  I am told that only 13 people with tumors at this site have been documented worldwide.

At first I thought GERD.  But sounds like you may have a bowel obstruction.  I am being treated for stomach and upper bowel pain with antiboitics for h. pylori even though the blood test came our negative.  This does happen.

Please take charge of your health.  I know from personal experience that sometimes you have to demand action.

Good luck!
