Did you have a recent exposure that made you take an HIV test or did you take this test because of things that were in the past? Because if you have been safe in the past and had a real recent exposure then the test might not be accurate.
I don't know if antibiotics will effect the test at all. But sending it to the CDC will give you the most accurate results.

But make sure you follow up with the clinic to get the results. Did they tell you when the results will be back? Please update us with the results.

You will be in my prayers.

I tested positive for Hiv and the bumps are on the back of my neck behind my hair line. I did the swab test for hiv the quick one.. But they said it could be a false true. They send another test to the cdc to make sure that it is correct what they got from my hiv test.

I'm sorry - what did you test positive for?  Bump on the back of your penis head, or your other head?

What were your risk factors, what kind of testing did you have done?  We need to know more before we can answer this question.
