Child Faints

my nephew is 21 months old and recently he faints anytime he geys upset. He will hold his breath and then will faint. is this normal or is he spoiled. He mother does tend to give him everything he wants.

For a nearly two-year-old to hold his breath is not unusual, but fainting as a result is not normal (and he may not actually be fainting). He should be checked medically, and not assume this is simply behavioral. If he's OK from a medical standpoint, such behavior should not be rewarded by succombing to his pressure, assuming he's doing this at moments when his wishes/wants are denied.
