AM I FOOLING MYSELF?

I HAVE BEEN TAKING HYDROCODONE FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS NOW. RECENTLY I HAVE BEGAN TO NOTICE THINGS THAT HAVE REALLY STARTED TO BOTHER ME. I ALWAYS RUN OUT OF PILLS BEFORE MY NEXT APPOINTMENT AND IT STARTED OUT TO ONLY BE A DAY OR SO BEFORE NOW I AM UP TO 10 DAYS BEFORE. MY WEIGHT HAS REALLY WEIRD, I WENT FROM 98LBS WHEN I WAS 1ST PUT ON THE HYDROCODONE TO 135 BACK DOWN TO 90 SOMETHING NOW I AM BACK AT 126. I HAVE NOTICED OVER THE LAST FEW MONTHS THAT I HAVE BEEN HAVING HORRIBLE STOMACH CRAMPS WHEN I HAVE A BOWEL MOVEMENT BUT WHEN I RUN OUT OF PILLS I HAVE TO RUN TO THE TOILET. I HAVE INCREASINGLY BECAME MORE AND MORE IRRITABLE, MY LEG AND ARM MUSCLES WILL TWITCH EVERYTHING ACHES AND HURTS LIKE HELL, HEADACHES THAT KEEP ME IN BED FOR DAYS AT A TIME, THE KIND WHERE YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR BEING STABBED IN THE EYE. AND I RAN OUT OF PILLS 4 DAYS AGO, SINCE THEN I HAVE HAD THE SHAKES IN MY HANDS MY WHOLE BODY JUST FEELS WEAK AND IT FEELS CREEPY AND CRAWLY ALL OVER, EVERYTHING HURTS SO BADLY AND I SWEAR I AM GOING VOMIT ALL OVER THE PLACE. I AM FREAKING OUT HERE! ITS SCARING ME TO DEATH. SO AM I FOOLIN MY SELF ABOUT NOT BEENING ADDICTED?

When I get the cold sweats I use brewers yeast.  It really takes the hebegebees (sp) away.  It works very fast.  You mix it into a glass of juice 2 tsp twice a day morning and night.  I was very surprised just how well it worked.  It also helped with other w/d symptons.  If you can not sleep you could try tylnol pm or advil pm, that will help. Then you will get some relief at least while you sleep.  Good Luck

yey...i am sorry but this is alot to go thru every month and for many that is what happens..it is hard to control ur use....and then u run out...u r close to the finish line as far as physicl wds go...dont know ur dose, but can u talk to ur doctor? maybe sumpin else would be better for pain for u

.You can put a stop to the cycle of addiction starting right now.. You have a head start.. You are into your 3rd day. Day 3 and 4 are the worst.. You will start to feel better after that.. Right now you can take a Hot shower our bath it will make you feel better for a bit.. It will help to stop your legs and arms from going nuts along with the pain.. You will need to take hot baths/showers often and I do mean often.. I take it you have not slept there are some things that might help.. Beneadryl I have heard helps.. I used natural products for the anxiety.. This will be over soon I mean the physical dope sick but you will still have to deal with why you were taking 10 a day to recover.. Keep on the forum as you will get a lot of support.. I hope you choose to make this your last detox as wd all the time is weary on the spirit.. I wish you well.. lesa

ITS BEEN OVER 72 HOURS SINCE MY LAST PILL. I GO THROUGHT THIS ABOUT EVERY TWO WEEKS, I DONT HAVE A JOB. MY HUSBAND WORKS. I WAS A WAITRESS FOR 10 YEARS UP UNTIL MY LAST SURGERY. I WAS IN SO MUCH PAIN AFTERWARDS I COULDNT DO IT ANY MORE. I HAD A JOB A FEW MONTHS AGO THAT WAS PERFECT FOR ME AND THE PLACE WENT UNDER.
I JUST WANT THIS **** TO END, I AM SO TIRED OF THIS ENDLESS CIRCLE I AM GOING IN. AND HOW LONG BEFORE MY HUSBAND CANT PUT UP WITH ME ANYMORE. HE HAS BEEN THE GREATEST AND I AM HURTING HIM I CAN SEE IT IN HIS FACE. HE IS SO WORRIED. I WANT TO STOP BEFORE I LOOSE HIM I HAVE ALREADY LOST WHO I WAS I DONT WANT TO LOOSE HIM TOO.

It depends.....how long has it been since your last pill?

Usually full blown withdrawals come after 36 hours.

How often do you go through this?  How do you work like this?  Usually people detoxing have to take time off of work.

I can suggest things to aid withdrawal, but it's still no walk in the park.

Are you here to find relief till the next fix, or do you want to stop?

Yeah....sadly.  Those are the classic symptoms of withdrawal.

How many a day are you taking now after 2 years?  Are you only buying all of your prescription or are you seeking elsewhere too?
