Ambien addiction?

Hey all-hope this question doesn't sound stupid. What exactly is the deal w/Ambien and addiction. I mean, I KNOW addiction-I'm a hydro addict/recovering addict going on 8 yrs. But I take Ambien monthly (my script is 20 mg/nite). I usually go thru them within a couple of weeks, using more at nite or during the day to relax. I know this is abuse. But I haven't exp any w/drawl symptoms or a need to have it when it's gone. But addiction? Thanks guys:)

Ambien is very addicting if you are not going threw wd when you go off them  now the STOP now before you find you have traded in one addiction for a nasty new one .Are u in recoverycare

I guess I'm asking anyone who feels they are addicted to Ambien to let me know what they're experiencing. As I said before-I know what physical dependence and addiction feel like (I've been thru that w/hydro's and benzo's). But it's been a couple of years of this monthly Ambien cycle, and I still have never felt a physical dependence (w/d's) or the need to go drug seeking to get them. It just seems really odd to me that I, being so likely to be addicted to them, don't feel that I am. I appreciate ur help and honesty;)
