Amino Acid Protocol or Thomas Recipe

I'm kinda confused in regard to both the Amino Acid protocol and Thomas recipe. I guess you can tell me what would be the most important between both protocols to take from day 1 to 4 during the worst W/D symptoms. I know I suffer the most with anxiety and depression, the pain I can manage with the baths, etc. My biggest worry is the RLS, anxiety/depression big time. Please forward me the best few products to take, I can't afford an entire drugs store of vitamins...THanks so much

I think that the previous posts covered just about all of it for now.  Congratulations and good luck to you. It is hard and uncomfortable but it can be done. Stay strong,

I am not sure about the st johns wort as i have never tried it...if it has worked for u then go for it..it increases seratonin i believe...k...will list what i think was MOST important but others may have different things to add...it is also in my journal but i took more than what i am listing below

a good B complex..like Big 50 by GNC

a calcium/magnesium supp

a multivitamin or/and EmergenC/walmart and is like 5 bucks..helps the immune    system and keep u well post detox/need the C..mix with water and use to take other supps

tyrosine, phenylalanine and 5htp...check for interactions if on an AD

Imodium..liquid .. u can find it at walmart..works quicker and actually impedes wds to small degree

Theanine for anxiety..and/or a few benzos from your doctor...valium is safest...10 mg pills cut into quarters as needed...do not use for sleep tho

A sleep med like melatonin, valerian root, tylenol pm...whatever works for you..or an RX
from ur doctor if need be...it is well worth it as lack of sleep can cause relapse

I did not have nausea but many do...walmart has a brand of anti-nausea medicine for 2 bucks..tastes bad but works...or phenergan from ur doctor...induces sleep/helps anxiety and is not habit forming..most docs will just call this in for u if u have a tummy bug

Thank you, I am addicted to Oxycontin for 5 years.,I'm planning my CT day set June 13. Sorry I didn't detail my history. I'm planning on starting the amino acid and or Thomas recipe next week a couple of weeks before my set date to quit. As you mentioned, you can go on and on but I really need to know the best few that would benefit me the most. L-theanine and 5HTP I hear is really good for the depression and magnesium at night for the RLS, do you think along with OTC for pain and diarrhea will be sufficient and perhaps St Johns Wort as well?

U r addicted to narcotics...right?   also depends on if u r on any ADepressents....narc users who use for energy usually have a dopamine shortage when they quit due to the dopamine surge that narcs, amphetamines and cocaine supply...tyrosine and phenylalanine (DHPA) are building blocks for dopamine...but really taking any of these supps for only 4 days is not really gonna help much cept the symptom relievers like the imodium, something for sleep and anxiety...u really do need a good B complex, a good multivitamin and a calcium/magnesium supp at night....SAMe/methionone is also a good supp for narc users and 5htp...could go on and on...but for only 4 days of use i would just get the symptom relievers as u can not really help anything too much with 4 days of use...i have a post in my journal about what i found to be most important for me...but we are all different
