Anyone else had Fiorcet addiction

Someone here suggested I use a better title I am trying to quit and know its now such a dangerous drug with the barbituates in it I didnt know that I thought like cocaine and alchohol I could quit I didnt think it could addict me like this. Question---has anyone out there been addicted to barbituates how did you quit how are you??? I hate this I love the advice I got on this forum thinking I could c/t or just quit I found out how dangerous that is boy am happy I know that but mad I am in this situation!!!!! Let me know if any of you are out there-----just would like to hear your story. I feel so naive

  I am in the middle of trying to quit this medication.   I am not going to lie to you, it's not been the easiest thing I have ever done.  I have horrible headaches and dizziness.  I am hoping it gets better as I taper down further.  If you want to message me to discuss further, please do!  Take care,

we get a few but not alot of people here use barbs.........You need to see a doc as soon as you can until you get into one i would not cut down more then one pill about every 7 to ten days .if that causes discomfort i dont know if you can take half of pill i have never taken them but going down by half even every 7 to ten days ......that is a temp until you can see a doc

Does not look like a popular addiction for some reason?  Maybe it is not often prescribed or something....I searched the forum for it and did not see too many posting on it in the past....maybe someone will soon....Bubitol is the drug that is in it....goodgle it and see what you can learn
