Congrats on 47 days!
I also had a balnce issue but more while using than after I quit. I still do but can walk a straight line, only challenging balances in yoga make me feel "off balance" now,
You may want to get checked by a Dr. Inner ear trouble can cause this and other things as well
Best to get checked
Congrats on 47 days....not sure on the balance thing.....could be vertigo.
Congrats on your sobriety, I'm working towards it im currently undergoing methadone maintenance treatment, sometimes i run out a day early with my take homes and start to withdrawal, and i notice that i get th feeling of fluid in my ears which throws off my balance a lil , im thinkin it could be art of getting normal again, but it really couldn't hurt to
consult an ear nose and throat doctor. I know one time I missed 3 days in a row at the clinic due to car trouble (and when u miss 3 in a row u take an automatic drug test which I wasn't worried about cuz i'm always clean, but of course when i finally made i down there it was on a Sunday and the doctor wasn't in, so they had to page him ....and page him....and page him. Anyway I waited 4 hrs (sick as a dog) for him to get back to the nurse and even though I was completely clean and had been at a stable 80mg/day for 8 months, the doctor phoned in and said drop me to 20 mg, when the nurse told me I almost began to laugh because I thought she was joking, but no jokes at all. I mean 20 mg did absolutely nothing to help me and our clinic has a rule that you can only go up 5mg every other day. So i had to wait 16 days just to get back up to where I was stable, and wouldn't you know 80 mg was no longer enough to keep me stable all day, so I up it to 100%.
I would go and have this checked out with your doctor......Let us know what you find out. sara
