Best vitamins and supplements for recovery?

I am just curious about what vitamins and supplements everyone has found to be useful during recovery? I'm a month off tramadol so I'm past the withdrawal stage and trying to get back to "normal" brain function. Any advice on supplements and vitamins is much appreciated. Thank you :)

I'm taking all the vitamins in the Thomas Recipe (minus the valium/immodium at this point). Basically, I'm taking a mulit vitamin, zinc, B6, a mag/zinc/potassium combo, and L Tyrosine everyday. If I miss one day (or am late in taking the supplements) I can tell a difference in how I feel. Also, try drinking Muscle Milk to help with the amino acids. Great job on 1 months! You're well on your way!!

I have been on several multivitamins for years due to a gastric bypass so I haven't felt any specific vitamins doing anything - however the one thing I have found that supports me and helps me through this "fun-filled" world of tramadol psychological w/d's is exercise.. I work out 3 times a week and use my bicycle to and from work everyday... For every time I have exercised I get a boost of feeling normal and good and I have yet to have a day that isn't better than the day before...

Someone more knowledgable in the vitamins department will be along shortly :o)
