Day 36 off subs - It gets better as time passes

I am now entering my 6th week off the orange devils. All my physical side effects have ended a couple of weeks ago.
My brain chemistry is still not right, I would say at 85% at this point. I am taking all kinds of vitamins and supplements to help with energy and short term memory and hope these are helping but who knows. I basically was unable to work for 2 years due to my addiction to percs. I am getting close to trying to find a job (great timing!)

Just wanted to leave some positive feedback - it was not easy and I still have my moments. But if you can get thru a couple of weeks of hell and not look back anyone can do this. After all in 100 years no body is going to remember any of this stuff anyway. We are here for a short time. I let percs run my life for 5 healthy potentially productive years. I paid a big price in many ways. BUT I AM RUNNING MY LIFE AGAIN, NOT THE PILLS!! It feels great to be behind the wheel again.

good luck to all and again thanks for all the help and support. These emails we write take time so we are all charitable people on this board trying to help others. DON'T FORGET TO TAKE THE TIME TO HELP YOURSELF.

Steve
