it is going to take time before you feel 100% again. i too am struggling. hang in there!
Ok..if you were only off 9 days you did not allow your body time to heal. If you think of the damage we've done to our bodies by abusing these drugs and the length of time we abused them....think how long it will take for our bodies to heal. You can do this! It's not easy...certainly not all rainbows & sunshine LOL...but it is do-able.
Have you read the Health Pages? The are on the right side of the screen. I am such a fan of the Amino Acid Protocol...it really helps your body restore what the drugs stole. So I say check it out and if you can get the stuff on there. If you are on anxiety meds or anti-depressants make sure you read the top part and don't take stuff that doesn't mix with them.
POST POST POTS & READ READ READ it really helps. We are here for you!

I agree with joann you do not feel normal after 9 days...I just started feeling normal again (actually much better than I even remember!) after 28 days.
Give yourself some time to heal your body. It takes awhile and is not fun but the rewards are great. I have been clean 4 month now and i feel good. Not sure what normal is anymore but if this is what it is i am and will be happy. You can do this!!! stay strong sara
Everyone is telling you the way it is. Just takes a little time. I too do not know what normal feels like, been on something most of my life, but the way I feel now is better than anytime else. Sure there are bad days but there are many more good ones.
Oh yeah, the lady with the umbrella might fly over your house to check up on you just to make sure you are behaving yourself, just keep that in mind!
Good luck, this is doable if you want it!
We are here to help!
for me there came a time when the hydros were a big downer...was depressed and tired on them where before i was energetic/life of the crowd...they turned on me but glad they did..why would i want to continue something that made me feel yucky...it is hard to quit when u still feel great taking them...sometimes the mental anguish involved is enuf to make u quit as u feel a loss of control also pocketbooks/wallets can get empty and cause stress due to buying these suckers so we can feel good.....we are capable of feeling good without those pills..they have a way of tricking u into thinking u cant tho...they will turn on u one day if not already,,,they will become a burden that drags u down...when u have had enuf, u will quit, and u wont look back...may crave and wish u could get that feeling back they used to give u, but u can not..u may try and chase that high that will never be the same again ....then u r done...but it is a process that does not happen overnight...keep hanging in there...admitting u need to quit and trying to quit is a major step in the right direction
