Crabby and Craving!!

Yesterday i was so proud of myself. I was offered pills and i said NO!!! Boy do i wish i had them now. I hate this craving ****. Thank god i know it will pass. I am not screwing up my clean time cuz of a bad day! Today has been a day from hell. I am sick of fighting. I cant wait till this chapter of my life is over. I am hungover and then we get a bad storm with a tornado right by my house. I was at the store with the kids and got stuck there. They were freakin out. Then i finally get to come home and boy do i have a mess outside to clean up from the storm. I am just crabby, pissed off, hungover and upset!! I think i might just go to bed and not get up till tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow is better! Thanks for letting me vent!!

I love your attitude and that's the biggest thing when it comes to cravings!! I know today will be a wonderful day with you and part of that is due to your excellent will power by simply saying NO!! Doesn't it just feel great to do that? I'm so proud of you and you should be to.

Great 4 U on turning down the pills.  We all come so close w/o realizing some times.  I'm glad you & your family dodged the tornados...we do the same with hurricaines down here :-).

Sorry u had such a bad day...Cravings seem to come with bad days, for me too...Take it one minute at a time if u have too....
Remember how good it felt to say no yesterday and just keep going...You can do this..
But come here and vent when u have to, we will help you

Sometimes we have such strong urges to use again, because we need that high. yes you feel better when you take the pills due to the high and the energy but then you feel guilty for taking them. Then you run out of them and can't get anymore and go thru wd.  Or you can get them but you can't pay your rent now because you needed the pills.  It is a horrible circle. .....been there done that.  I am in so much debt from buying pills on the internet it has ruined my life. I am on Suboxone for the past 3 months. I don't have any urges to speak of but once in awhile I do miss the high I used to get from the vicodens. We will all have bad days and craving days because we are addicts, but we need to be STRONG and stay away from those devils one way or another.  A good support system like this forum will help so much.................stay here and let all of these wonderful people help you thru this. i was so proud of you yesterday for turning down pills. today is tougher i know but you are such a strong women i know you will get through this. i am hungover too today but never touched the coke. please hang in there, this will pass. you just got your 6 months and should be very proud of yourself. you need to be clean and focused to get though what you have to right now and you know i am here for you. That sounds like a mess. Good for you saying NO!!!! This chapter of your life will end soon. Actually it is this chapter of your life is already beginning and it will continue to get better.
