Thanks, He has been in about 5 different drug rehab programs, but always seems to get really upset and then quits. ( he has anger issues). Does crack make you want to sleep all the time, what does it do to you, as you see I know nothing about it except he is doing it and says he cant stop. I will tell him about this place, and hope he gets some form of help, As I love him but don't know how much more of the lies, anger, sleeping, that I can take.
I smoked almost everyday day for 2 years and had NO "physical" withdrawls when I quit CT. The trick is to get away from everyone who does it or can get it for you.

Although there are a few drugs that are supposed to help with cocaine/crack cravings, i don't think none have been proved to be that effective. Only my opinion as a cocaine addict, but he would benefit more from rehab/counselling/some type of support group. Crack is a beast of a drug to quit and they need to learn the tools on how to stay clean. there is no easy way. the link above is a few things that can be used to curb coke cravings, but i have not heard of many using or if they worked. They will need some help for sure and it's out there if they really want it. Show them this forum, it's a great place for help. As cathy and worried said, they can find support here. good luck
not really....crack is a different addiction than narcotics and not known to be physically addicting..not sure if that is always the case as not ever a doc of mine..but the depression and anxiety that comes with quitting is horrible i hear...there is an entry in my journal on drugs/supps to help crack/cocaine addicts with detox..it is more like an amphetamine than a narcotic...does release a ton of dopamine which narcotics do as well...just not sure sub would help...who knows and a doctor who prescribes su would be the best person to ask..just not sure coke/crack is an indication....the thomas recipe, aftercare and the health pages can help tho
i dont know of anything for coke addicts. coke is very hard to get off mentally. do you think your friewnd would come here for support?
