You just think about being free of this stuff. You are at probably the worst point in your WDs. The next few days will determine your short-term success chances. There's not really any free lunch. You just need to ride out the next few days. Do whatever seems to work for you. Everyone knows that exercise is good and will release some endorphins. Its also probably even harder to do than getting off the drugs. Its going to be hard for the nex few days and its totally worth it!! 22 days free for me and I can't even describe how good it feels not being handcuffed by drugs.
I'm on day 5 as well. Feeling much better. It is easier saying this than actually doing it but here it goes. Take multi vitamins, get some b12 too drink plenty of water. Also I found some tea at the store with chamomile, catnip, passionflower and spearmint. It def helps to settle the nerves but doesn't completely do the trick.
And I think the best thing you can do is keep your mind active. Games on your computer or whatever will numb your brain. GO OUT for a walk do some pushups try to interact with people. Strike up conversations with strangers. You need to reassure yourself that YOU are a good person. Help an old lady across the street. Anything that will make you feel better about yourself.
I hope that helps. Be strong! You can and will do it!!
Hi~ Well,at this point, any kind of aftercare would help you! Will you try an NA meeting?
It's all about being positive now AND changing old behaviors.
Good luck~
