i was watching Dr Phil and i think starting tommorrow is a show on twins that are addicted to pain pills...they showed the previews and it looks SO good.....just wanted to tell everyone..it is supose to last 2 days

The biggest problem I see (from experience) is people cannot endure the hell on earth withdraw from pain medication. I will tell you if i would've been warned about how addicting the pain meds were I would've endured the pain or not have taken them as prescribed by my doctor. Then I found Suboxone. an awesome drug to help get off of pain medicine, but you either have to be rich to pay the doctor to get them or be on a long waiting list for a doctor to except insurance, because most don't. To top it off, each certified Suboxone doctor is limited to 30 patients the first year they become certified and then 100 thereafter. (Government's rules). I personally feel it is the withdraw that is unbearable and people will continue to use just to not have to go through it. This is my experience.

What you probably heard him say was he was a "reformed WORKAHOLIC".  Big difference.  He has never had a drink becasue of his Father.  Whether you like him or not is irrelevant, but he was never an alcoholic.  As a child of an alcoholic, like many, he hates alcohol.

I watch Dr. Phil every day and often he has people with addictions. I looked forward all day today to the one about the twins, but it wasn't on because of the election coverage. Maybe tomorrow.

IBKleen:  We do have cable TV here in SD.  Only problem left to solve is how to heat the outhouse during these cold winter months.  I might take you up on the cable bill, though.
Dr. Phil needs his own Dr. Phil.  I am not much into pop psychology.  Your mind is personal and so should your sessions with a psychiatrist.  You can feel content in knowing that I have only seen the commercials for his show.  My wife refused to give me the remote back the ONE time I tried to watch.

dang---u got it....i remember watching the twin that were addicted to herion...I think that was the drug, and one was pregnant..they went live in his house, and they showed them detoxing, it ws a good show, and very sad, but i couldn't relate because it wasn't my DOC

but i cannot wait to watch this one, it looks so good...
