Thank you. 11 days cleans off oxy today. :)
Congrats on day 10! I just posted on your day 9. I cant wait till I am able to say 10 days clean!
Lol not stupid at all! And my daughter had curling today with her 4-H group. It was inside the areana though. And all the kids out here play hockey of course. Not me no,I love my summer volley ball and such. Lol I make a bad Canadian. I hate cold. And yesterday along with the sneezing I started getting a weird tickle in my throat which causes a constant cough? I seem to have more ailments now then I ever did when I was on oxy.
I can relate to what you're going through (congrats on the 10 days, btw...you are in the home stretch!). I had really red and watery eyes and it felt like I was always having an allergic attack to something.
Even now, at 60-plus days, I'm going through a box of Kleenex every 3 days, and sneezing/coughing all the time. It isn't a cold; I can tell...just my body adjusting to the lack of opiates I have been feeding it for almost a decade.
Wow, its really cold where you are! Do you do any outside sports, like curling? (I hope that isn't a stupid question....my first husband's family all came from the Great White North and they all loved that sport.)
Hugs,
-Robin
Yikes!! That is cold! Maybe just stick your head out the door for a breath or two? :)
Yeah, the sneezing thing drove me nuts. I think it's your body still trying to rid itself of all the toxins from the Oxy. Hopefully it won't last too much longer.
Stay warm!
If you woulda suggested outside 2 days ago I would have been all for it. But it's -34• celcius today. Lol. I live in canada. I'll deff try the eye drops though thank you. This is driving me crazy. I yawn and sneeze non stop...but I don't have a cold.
Hang in there. This is pretty normal at this point. The no energy thing was the worst symptom for me. I can tell you that the more I did, the more energy I had, and the better I felt. It may be the last thing you feel like doing, but if you can get outside in the fresh air even for just a short walk, it will help. Sometimes, I would just sit outside on my porch for 30 minutes. Also the watery/red eyes is typical as well. I would sneeze my head off and my eyes were itchy and red. You can try some OTC eye drops for relief. That did help me.
Take care, and keep moving forward.
