allaboutmary, he did not give advise about suboxone dosages. Read his message again. Every thing I read about suboxone says to take it in the morning. All your dosages. This way you get use to taking it the same time everyday and less of a chance of missing a dose. Also, doing it in the morning may not keep you awake at night. Alot of people find that suboxone acts like a stimulant in some. Also, doseing at different times may get you thinking of the life style you were doing before when you may have been doseing your pain meds at different times a day. This way just once first thing in the morning. It has a half life of 37 hours so why take it twice a day right?
SOMEONE WHO IS ASKING ABOUT A SYMPTOM THEY ARE HAVING ON SUB, IS NOT ASKING ABOUT WHAT THEIR DOSAGE SHOULD BE! BUT, I THINK IT'S COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS THAT THIS SITE HAS MADE IT SO THAT PEOPLE ARE AFRAID TO EVEN RESPOND TO LEGITIMATE QUESTIONS FROM PEOPLE ON SUB THAT SERIOUSLY HAVE QUESTIONS, NEED ADVICE, AND HELP BLAHHHHHHH
I got that way also while on sub. so i drank lots an lots of Mt. Dew then when i got sleepy i could'nt due to running to the bathroom. But sub did work very well with me and I followed Dr.'s orders.
Thanks for the comment. It is comforting knowing I am not alone. I certainly was not asking anyone about dosages and changing anything. I was going to talk to my doctor about it. However, I thought maybe I would have some comments from people who maybe have experienced the same thing. I mean I thought this forum was about sharing our experiences. That was all I was asking for.
however sub isn't as straighforward as other drugs, most ppl who post about it don't fully understand it(neither do i), so i would definately leave this to you dr.
all the best.

Hi Lisa -
I used to get that way as well. When I first took the sub I would get a burst of energy and then afternoon I would crash for a few hours. I would have to stay moving otherwise I would fall asleep! Even as I dropped my doses I had a similar problem. I think its common so you really just have to weigh the risk vs benefit with your doctor.
By the way, asking about experience has nothing to do with advice in regards to dosing.
Sorry , but MedHelp frowns on people giving advise on Suboxone dosages. They recommend you speak with your doctor .
