Day 25 off Methadone

Today is my 25th day off the dones I feel I got that beat but I have gotten some kind of flu the worst I have ever had bye far my fever broke last night but I still feel real bad and some depression setting in since my Daughter had our first grand baby Friday and she gets to come home today but I cant let her come  she must go to her aunts house for a few days cause I dont want the baby getting sick this is so hard I have been in this battle since 12/14 /14 my body seems to just be beating to **** it is getting the best of me I cannot beat the Loratab until I have healed some

Sorry you are still sick Dozeman.  I know you are an anxious Grandpaw, you will b with that sweet baby soon.  I ditto the above, stay hydrated, lots of rest. You are doing great! Feel better soon!

Influenza A is alive and well in my area!  So many are sick with it.

I have A severe case of the flu my temp is back up to 99.5 this is the 4th day of it I hope it is over soon I hate to say it but I have took 4 tabs a day the past 2 days I tried so hard not to but Saturday night in the early morning hours from about 1am to 6am I laid there squalling in pain it was horrific I mean I was ready to call an ambulance and I have no insurance so I have to pay out of pocket so I have to be about dead to do that the Loratab knocked out the pain enough to not cry I knew if I got sick I could be set back but that is life and I will not give up it is just to much dealing with this bad of flu and w/d pain as soon as I get over it I will resume my taper this is just a bump in the road this flu was worse than my first 4 days of Methadone detox I heard a bad case was going around so I pray no one else gets it I will be fine my friends and thanks for your concern for the Dozeman

Our immune system takes a beating when we are detoxing.  It gets better.  Lay low and rest and before you know it that precious baby will be in your arms.

Hey there!  Congrats on the 25 days off methadone!  Thats a big accomplishment!!!  Hope you feel better soon!  And Gnarly is right about getting sick while detoxing!  I got a cold and havent had one in many years and then my ears got infected...  So you are not alone!!!  How many lortabs are you taking a day now?  Hopefully we will be helping you through that detox soon!!!  Congrats again on the grandbaby!!!!  They will be home soon!!!  Keep hanging in there!!!!

hi  getting sick wile or after detoxing is common it will pass in a few days  how you doing on the lortab taper?? anyways keep posting for support.....................Gnarly
