Day 43 !!

Hi all , Well today I feel pretty dang good ! I think at this point as far as the PAWS gos  I am feeling minimal effects . As far as the anxiety its about 10% and I think that's more fear of the fear ! Weekends can be hard as I feel boredom sometimes and slight cravings . I try and stay busy with exercising and hobbies . I think since there is not a lot of dramatic change with myself I will just start posting every three days or so unless everyone wants daily updates ? I will still be here about everyday to help others with advice . I hope you are all well and keep fighting the good fight !  Jimmy

Wow. I'm so glad you're feeling better. I have to remind myself to read my old posts(and other's), so I won't be going through this again. Keep it up!

Not sure about the PAWS either.. but I DO know that after being CLEAN for 65 Days I still find myself a bit depressed sometimes.. NOT all the time.. just sometimes.. Not sure if that has anything to do with PAWS or not????
Boredom and stress are two factors that kinda put me in to a funk.... so I try at ALL costs to keep my self busy and try to avoid stressors... (easier SAID then DONE)

Any hoos... CONGRATS on your DAYS CLEAN.. Be PROUD of YOURSELF... cuz,,, I know I am PROUD OF YOU!

P.S. side note:  Was coming down with a cold and got some Zicam... and it works!  Feel ALOT better today after only sucking on one... Pretty good stuff.. I think....

Yes I am keeping in aftercare and I really don't want to ever go threw the mental W/D's again ! Cravings come and go but like I said to all of you if it hits I just read my notes to myself about how I was so racked with anxiety and depersonalization and sometimes I read them twice ! Never  want to suffer threw that **** again . Thanks guys for all your support , it really means a lot to me .  Jimmy

Way to go, Jimmy!!  I can't advise on PAWS or anything else for that matter (except my experience with Tramadol), but know that I am positively thrilled for you! :)

congrats jimmy..i do hope u r seking aftercare to help u this time..getting clean is so very easy as opposed to staying clean..i am glad u feel good...but just in case u have some down days...PAWS is a true affliction addicts feel in the aftermath..and is what makes people cave if they r not prepared for it

u have tried so hard on several occasions to get this far!  and u r there..keep ur cleandom..u earned it jimmyt

You might even want to check out the "pink cloud' affect - - - its a period before PAWS (usually <12 months..) when you start to get complacent and think that you heve it all beat. You are doing well by recognizing weekends and boredom as triggers and doing something about it.......distract yourself and the craving will be over before you know it.....

I know what you mean about the fear of the fear. I am starting to learn that my anxiety feeds on my fear. I am glad you are getting better. Thanks for all the support you gave me the other day. It really  helped alot.

WOW..day 43 is great! Congrats!!!

So you are going through PAWS? I never heard of that so early into withdrawal. Let us know what that is like.

Great to see you sticking around. It is so important to have a support system. Are you doing anything else for aftercare?

Hang in there. You are on your way!!!
