Day 6...sleep and feeling bloated a problem

Still clean and moving forward on day 6 off Tramadol.   Not having the typical stomach problems associated with tram w/d.  I'm not eating big amounts of food, but feel so bloated and generally uncomfortable.  Also, falling asleep has not been happening easily for me.  Not much energy other than putting in my day at work.

I tried to catch a nap today, but no luck.  I'm really trying not to fight the insomnia.  I know that eventually, I'll sleep.  I haven't been constipated....maybe just being  a little hyper-aware of all sensations in my body, has something to do with the bloated sensation.  Maybe I'm eating too close to bedtime, also.  I'm trying to be patient in my expectations of how I'll feel, but just not thinking about those pills and when to take them, has been such a relief:)

no sleep is very common....just catch naps whenever you can......if you are tired when you get home from work take that nap!!  Like I've said-get it when you can.
As for the bloated feeling....have you had a BM lately? Not trying to get to personal here...but constipation is a very real problem (not usually one for us doing the WD's...) but if you have been eating and haven't been moving your bowels....

If things are 'moving' along normally--then just give yourself a little time to get better. Being uncomforable is part of the WD's....It isn't fun, but it's a reality.
Hang in there. Things will start to get better. Tramadol is the devil and you are so smart to be done with it.
Have you changed your diet during your WD's? That can affect the way your guts feel also. Just remember to drink lots of water and keep up on your vitamins.
