Day 7 Question

I have a question, I am on day seven , the first 4 days I took methadone to get rid of the withdrawls but now Im on day seven and I still feel great. Do you think I will have any withdrawls then or should the lortab be out of my system by now?

thank you so much worried878, I appreciate the comment. I am going to work very hard to stay away from addiction. It scares me! thats why I like talking to you guys. I need the companionship from those who understand.

Everyone is different....how much were u taking of the lortab each day...for me it was less than a week and the physical symptoms had run their course...u should be ok...lucky u did not stay on the methadone any longer than u did but it seems to have done the trick for u...stay on ur toes tho...addiction can creep up on u and bite u in the butt!!

Thank you so much for the comment. Im not going to take any more methadone but do you think after 8 days and I feel fine that Im through with the lortab or any withdrawl physically?

Methadone stays in your system much longer then other opiates, this is why its so hard to detox from, I dont know how many mgs you were taking? But I can say that as a former methadone addict that after 4 days, you should be ok? Any longer then that & you could find yourself in a worse situation then what you started out in. I recomend that you stay away from methadone, this drug is brutal to your body & mind!  Penelope

It sounds like the loratags have run their course... now you need to deal with the methadone.
