Down to 1/2 tab per day question

Hi Everyone.  Well.... I managed to get my friend down to a 1/2 a 50mg tramadol per day.  She takes the 1/2 in the evening.  A few weeks ago she was taking 8 10/325 Norco and 7 tramadol per day so it's HUGE progress.  She says the anxiety at night is the worst part and the 1/2 tablet seems to help a little, but nothing huge.  She takes a xanax at bedtime to help ease the anxiety and sleep.  She only has a few xanax so that's not an issue, and she only has 4 tramadol remaining with NO other sources. She has done everything right thus far and I am very proud.  (confessed to doctors, told pharmacies etc)

My question is this.   Is the 1/2 a tablet per evening even doing anything at this point?
I need someone who knows the chemical impact of such a low dose to chime in so I know how to help her on this final step.  It will be over soon regardless (as no more pills after the few more halves) but what can she expect "without" taking the 1/2 at night?

Thanks everyone

Honestly, I doubt the 1/2 Tram is really doing anything physically for your friend. However, perhaps emotionally it helps a bit. Have her take some Epsom salt baths for restlessness and achy muscles. It will help a lot. Good luck!
