Glad to hear you are feeling better! It helps that you have supportive people around you. You certainly are headed in the right direction and it sounds like you are also keeping very busy, which should help keep your mind busy in a good way. Congrats on 9 days!
It all sounds great, and you should be proud of yourself. Don't ever sell yourself short: Getting off narcotics is a HUGE deal, and no small feat. Keep up the good efforts, and keep checking in here. It's a great place for support, even if you don't post yourself. Just read those of others and you'll realize more and more that what you're doing is the absolutely best thing for yourself.

FEELING BETTER THIS AFTERNOON, I THINK I'VE ALWAYS HAD A PROBLEM WITH A LITTLE DEPRESSION, BUT I'VE GOT SOME GOOD THINGS GOING ON IN MY LIFE RIGHT NOW. I'VE GOT A GREAT FAMILY , THOUGH I'M SINGLE , I STILL HAVE A VERY SUPPORTIVE MOTHER AND FATHER. I'M FISHING A LOT TO TAKE MY MIND OFF OF THINGS AND GETTING OUT IN NATURE AND TRYING TO FORGET THIS WHOLE ORDEAL. ITS TOUGH, THERE'S TIMES I FEEL PRETTY ROUGH , BUT AT THE SAME TIME IT FEELS GOOD CAUSE I KNOW I'M GOING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. DOES THAT MAKE SENSE? MY FINANCIAL SITUATION HAS TURNED AROUND IN THE PAST TWO WEEKS, I'VE STARTED MAKING MORE MONEY,AND STARTED REMODELING MY KITCHEN AND BATHROOM AT NIGHT. JUST NEED ENCOURAGEMENT SOMETIMES .

Patience. Stopping the use of the drug was a wonderful step, but it is the start of a lengthy process. You're still in the early phases of that crucial first step. It may take weeks before you're truly feeling your old, pre-drug abuse self. For me, sleep patterns didn't return to normal for several months, and my GI tract was off kilter for many weeks. Not so say that will be the case for you, but be aware that progress may come in fits and starts.
Once the physical symptoms of withdrawal wane, then it's time to seriously consider your next step: recovery and aftercare. Without them, you're highly likely to find yourself using again.
So, patience and planning.
Good Luck

What you are going thru right now is normal. Each day should get better. Sleep and energy are usually the last thing to come back but they do. I am sure your diet is causing the scoots but it sounds like healthy eating!!! Hang in there, you are doing great and Congrats on 9 days!!! sara
DAY 9 AND FEEL A TAD BETTER, NOT AS MUCH ANXIETY THIS MORNING, BUT HAVE THE SCOOTS. iT CANT BE FROM THE MEDS, I THINK ITS FROM CHANGE OF DIET . EATING MORE FRUITS AND YOGURT, CEREALS AND THAT TYPE STUFF. I'M WONDERING IF I'LL SLOWLY START GETTING OUT OF THIS FUNK OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. NOT BAD BUT JUST A LITTLE UNMOTIVATIONAL AND TIRED DURING THE DAY AND HAVE A HARD TIME GOING TO SLEEP AT NIGHT. IT TOOK TWO HOURS FOR ME TO GO TO SLEEP LAST NIGHT AFTER TKAING KLONOPIN, WHICH I HAVE BEEN ON FOR YEARS, I'M NATURALLY A HIGH STRUNG PERSON,BUT THAT DOESN'T EVEN SEEM TO WORK ANYMORE. ANY THOUGHTS.
I think it's perfectly normal - we've abused our bodies a long time and it takes time to heal. A bad day here and there is certainly better than everyday on those pills! The bad days have been creeping in for me as well but they are much easier to handle without pills. Exercise will help a lot :)
