Since you are day 4, i would say after tomorrow you should start to feel better. After day 5 for me i really did start to notice a difference in how i felt. Yes everyone is different but on average it does seem after day 5 it does get better. The mental part does take time but just hang in there that to does get better with time. We didnt do this to ourselves over night so we are not going to fix ourselves over night either. Remeber that! Just stay positve and no matter how you are feeling try to stay busy, it really does help. Go for a walk, watch a funny movie or read a good book. You will find what works for you and when you do ,stick with it. Good luck to you and stay strong. In the end it is so worth it!!
Emotionly it depends on how you work on recovery. If your an addict then you have a disease and like most diseases your prognosis depends on your effort to recover. Obviously the 1st step is to quit useing and get over the physical effects of wds. After that just being abstinant is really just waiting to use again rather its days,weeks,or even years odds are you"ll use again. If your an addict then its essential that you find out why you use and in doing so little things in your life start changing for the better. Its a daily thing but so was useing. An addicts desire to not use again can usually be measured by the effort they put into recovery ( aftercare).

If I did the math right. You are on day 4. You should start to get better in a few days, maybe sooner. Emotionally it takes longer but that doesn't men it's like the first week is. Hang in there, it will get better.
