Hello to all my angels here, Im home but not doing well

Hello to my angels,
I just got home, Had to stay another day due to pain issues and having to be on a pain pump. They sent me home on Percocet and its making me sick , I am trying to only take it when I have to because of the throwing up that happens. Other than that the Doc said that the surgery went very well just so sore, He said 6 weeks to be back to normal and untill then I sit here and watch Juno haha I love that movie, Im still not eating much but that will come back in time im sure,Thank you all so much for the warm messages and well wishes, I hope that you are all doing great and I will be around more in the next few days

Hey Sweetie.
I had my hysterectomy in November of 2006 and that was the best thing I have ever done.  I had the surgery at noon and had to stay overnight because they had me on a pain pump also.  I honestly don't think I used it but a few times.  I had NO pain after I came home from the hospital. As a matter of fact, I went back to work after 2 weeks.  I didn't do anything but teach sitting down.  I had students calling me at home begging me to come back because they did not like the sub.  After promising to not give me any problems, I reluctantly went back to work.  The point I want to make is that I didn't have any trouble with my surgery and to this day I haven't.

Are you having to take any hormones or anything? I don't. They left my ovaries, so I am wondering what will happen down the road, but as for now, I highly recommend the hysterectomy if you aren't planning on more children.

Glad to hear that you are home and hope you continue to do well
