will tramadol help with opiate withdrawal?

battling opiates for a while now ..... seems lie im detoxing every mont somtimes twice. just wondering if  ne on e knows if  tramadol helps ease withdrawal symptoms

Please know all advice here is given from the heart.  You have to decide what is better for you.  If you go take a look at the discussion post for Vicodin/Tramadol you will find a wealth of information about Tramadol withdrawal, which is worse than the Vicodin.  Vicodin lasts a short period and Tramadol can last for months.

However, you need to do what you feel you need to...no one can make this decision for you.

all i can say is NO....don t take the trams...read the health pages and the thomas recipe...a better way to help with wd/s.  its at the top right corner.  lots of helpful info...good luck to you...maria

i dont want any one to know. i want to beat it and then tell them. i have had the tramadol for months they in no way give me a buzz...so i figured id take em when the rls or sweats come

my first time I had wd was taking 30 pills in two weeks just to let you know .Can you have someone hold them and give them too you only when absultotely needed

i ve heard all the negs about the tram but i have to get clean.... i cant take  the huslte another day...i'been hiding it for what seems to be a lifetime and im scared to death my loved ones are going to find out.I cant beleive i have become such a peice of garbage that i am willing to lie a pretty much dangle all of my persoal relationships over the edge for these things. i feel like if the tramadol can get me through the first couple of days i might have a shot.I dont think i even have enuff tram to become addicted about 20 or so

traycee is right that is the odd part of trams for some people it does nothing for others it hooks them very quickly the problem is you dont know whether you will be lucky like traycee or unlucky like me its a gamble I just would not want to take .

you take a cpl of dozen trams and you may  have a new problem My DOC is tram I would just try to hang in there without taking something else ...

on and off for about 18 months...ne where from 10 mg to 120 a day given the day and what i can get my hands on.right now been taking abous 5-10 vic es's a day for about a week.was clean for about 5 days last month but got a hold of about 60 pec 10s so here i am  have a couple dozen tramadol and thought it might help a little with the wds

stay away from the tram plz ,its addicting and the wd from it if you happen to get hooked on it like I did was HeLL.Id flush the tram .what are you, on how long and how much .Have you quit yet ?
