Aww congrats ariley. One year is IINCREDIBLE, just like you! I'm so glad that I saw this post tonight. You are one of my angels that helped me get my life back, 7 months ago!! Thank YOU!!!! I hope that you will be celebrating ur one year this weekend. God bless! Xoxo
Thank you all so much! I am so blessed to have each and every one of you, and to have this year clean. You all mean so much to me and I couldn't have made it this far without you. Thanks for all of the love, support, and laughs. I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!! :)
Hey girl~! I'm a little late... but could not pass up sayin' COnGraTuLAtioNS~!!! Girl you are ROCKIN' it! So very happy you've chosen LIFE and freedom honey. This is certainly no easy journey... there is no "softer, easier way" but GIRL, YOU are SO worth IT!!! Keep it up Ang :) ONE day at a time~!
Congratulations on Your Year Clean !!!!! That is Awesome ! So Happy for you !! Thank you for the smile :)) It always feels good when a Sister wins :) lesa
That's exactly how ariley made it to one year...one day at at time (Gee, I've heard that somewhere before). Honestly, it is very simple; we are the one's that screw it up.

Amazing. A year (and a day) is such a monumental benchmark...You've fought the good fight and have ended up here. Not a bad place to be. Very happy, proud...Many congrats.

I am amazed how people can get to one year, I don't know how to make each day.
368 is SO GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've always been amazed at you Ang!
Detoxing in a semi is BEYOND my wildest imaginations...and yet you did it!
I can think of all kinds of ways we could celebrate your one year milestone:
We could stuff our faces together on "all you can eat tacos" at Taco Shop
We could buy tickets in advance for a CHIEFS game
We could bop around your new home city and see the sights
But since you and I both deal with chronic pain....we'll just "pretend" for now and say we did, ok??.....LOL
I am so proud of you and thank you for all that you have contributed here on the forum.
It wouldn't be the same without you~
Much love,
Connie
All I can say is that you are a true inspiration. Keep up the good work sweets. Xoxo
WOW!!!!! Amazing! You better be SUPER proud of yourself! You're an inspiration to others starting their own journey!
May you continue to enjoy peaceful, sober days. I have all the faith in the world that you will!
XOXO

Oh Angie! 1 YEAR & 2 Days. Just Wowsome!!
I couldn't be more proud of you & am so blessed & honored to have you as a sister. Your journey has been a tremendous inspiration to me (as well as to many others here.) I'm so impressed that you kicked not only Vikes but also benzos & alcohol & have remained sober throughout all the challenges you've faced. You're one of the best things to happen to me & this forum in a long time.
Sorry I missed the day (you dark horse, you..I thought you were going to post!;) I'll have to come up with some sort of celebration to mark this Huge Milestone. (Comin' atcha' when you least expect it -- so don't even try to say no. ;)) You've worked hard, stayed strong, kind, level-headed, funny & cool. The best is yet to come & boy do you deserve it! I look forward to sharing it with you.
With Love, Thanks & Admiration -- Annie

Haha! Boy band! NO!! I ran errands all day. Just got home. I am going to make myself a yummy salad and settle down with a book. Thank you everyone for all of the warm wishes, and thank you Ms D for the post. I know for a fact I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for all of the love and support I received from you wonderful people. A year ago I was a very scared girl sick with withdrawals and stuck in a semi truck. What a difference a year can make! This has been a year full of healing, growth, and new opportunities. I can't wait to see what the next year brings!
