im having crazy dreams that im using its scary there sooooo real . then i wake up and im like thank god any advice

Well it had been awhile since i had a drug dream, but I had one last night, which is rare now. I dreamed about alcohol and was hiding it all around the house, lol. I woke up sweating, but it did not make me crave like they did before.

One more quick comment.  They say during the REM stage of sleep is when our body and mind does the most healing.  Maybe we have such crazy dreams because our brains are healing right now :)

I have been having crazy vivid dreams since I have been on sub.  I find them quite enterntaining personally and so do my kids when I tell them about them. LOL  I also dream about using A LOT, i figure it this way, I am not using awake and if using in my dreams is getting me by then so be it.  No health consequences to that.  
Dreams happen in all stages of sleep but the most vivid dreams occur during the last stage of sleep (REM) which is the best sleep you can get.  Just enjoy them :)

I have drug dreams often...just had one last night.  I'm used to them now and find them amusing.  For me they seem to be like a test: is she gonna take the pills or walk away. I used to take them(in my dreams) now they have no impact what so ever.
This tells me that i've come a long way...
They can be creepy though.

I love using dreams. I'm in recovery...and my disease can't get to me when I'm awake..so, it has to come at me when I'm asleep. I think that's pretty cool.

So I think dreams work like a roledex of our lives. I spent years using so I have using dreams sometimes so vivid. I don't think they mean anything really. I try not to give mine to much of my focus, for me they fall into the " things I cannot change"

Yes, I have them too everynow and then it's really weird.  Stupid thing is for me I would wake up and dream it again!!  It's kinda of scary!  Must be one of our natural defenses bouncing back.  Hang in there..

I had those dreams also and they freaked me out. I would wake up and think I had relapsed and craved. These dreams do diminish with time, but many of us have went through them when quitting. Mine lasted just over a month. How long have you been clean?
