Felt ok on day one of detox. Day two *****. How much longer do I have befor I start feelin halfway decent. I'm basically going cold turkey after about 6 months of abuse

I know, ROS, just haven't made it that far yet.....lol. I am actually doing great, I'm amazed......so I think I would like to just read & help others too. However, I am going to start a thread under the addiction one here about my previous post and what happened with the tramadol and my Zoloft. I feel it is VERY IMPORTANT for people to know as a lot of people are put on tramadol either as a main pain med or while they are trying to quit others. The 2 meds do not mix and even tho some have taken SSRI's with tramadol without a problem, it worries me as far as when & if there could be a problem and they or their loved ones don't realize it. Is it ok to write about that here? I'll wait for your answer before I post. It is something everyone needs to be aware of.

Day 4 today and quite shaky. It has been going ok thus far tho. Except this dang sneezing! Oh my, I think I am going to sneeze my brain out! Lol. I have not been able to each much of anything even tho I try....but I have been drinking water like they are going to cut off my supply tomorrow! Ha. My brain has been a little muddled...in fact, funny story, I was in the garage 2 days ago talking to hubby and his brother, and out of nowhere I said, " I put my shoes in the dishwasher." Where in he heck did that come from? I don't know! Oh well, I am keeping a positive attitude knowing this will not last forever. Taking one day, even one hour at a time! Thank God for this place!

You used the word "funner".....I have always LOVED that word...grammatically or not, right?

Now that you're feeling better I hope you've cut off your sources even tho they were street contacts... and will think about some after care of some sort.....addiction doesn't sleep.....even when we start feeling better~

Day 8 and doing great!! My legs feel a bit heavy n slow. And my mind is still clearing up. But withdrawl symptoms are all but gone. Yesterday I woke up soooooo hungry. I went to Denny's and had blueberry pancakes, bacon, grits, eggs, coffee. Then later at home made some shrimp, corn, rolls. Later at my sis house had some rice, meat, veggies. Then to top it off on the wY home went to McDonalds. Lol just couldn't eat enough  my body was craving some nutrition.  Idk just everything is making way more sense as far as life goes. I'm using the bathroom like normal person too. No more constipation. Stop and peeing is gone. Even got my sex drive back. Getting high was fun. But leaving a normal productive healthy life is much much funner if u ask me!!!!  Thanks to all who gave me hope and let me know I'm not alone in this fight. This board helped tremendously. Couldn't be more thankful. :::)))))))
