How many of you went through this after 150mg opiates a day?

I am still having stomach/gut pain and discomfort.  It has been 24 days after stopping, and even though I am not dealing with diarhea too much, the gnawing and distention is driving me nuts.

Most of my other w/d's are tolerable, still some leg cramps/weakness, and nervousness, but the gut stuff.. scheit.... getting caught up with work and other stuff, and I am functioning no problem there, but  ..

Please if anyone dealt with this almost a month into c/t, let me know, or if you are aware of how long it can take?

Thanks all...

Seeing your doctor and getting it checked out is the best thing to do.I started experiencing painful burning everytime I would take a bite of something about a month into detoxing off methodone. My stomach would get very distended and I felt so bloated,it was really painful.I kept putting it off thinking it was from the detox, when finally one night I just couldn't stand the pain anymore and I went to the ER.The pains in my stomach were being caused by diverticulitis, which is like an infection in your colon that if left untreated can spread and lead to a world of unpleasant things. Please don't put it off to long.Peace.

Good idea !!!! Have it checked if it does not improve .I was having a lot of the same symptoms. I ended up with an infected gallbladder so don't let it go to long

I am thinking maybe an ulcer myself but I did have some days of no pain, so it has been coming and going.
I am under a lot of stress right now. Too much to write..
I think if after 30 days, I might see a gastro doc...
Not sure what else to do.  My energy is pretty good and I am doing full days so that part is going well.

The pain is tolerable but annoying. I don't 'need' meds for it and nothing helps anyways.

I know avis is probably thinking gall bladder....hopefully not but if it continues u oughta have it checked...i think sometimes we tend to blame our detox/addiction for too many aches and pains...it could need medical attention if it doesnt clear up soon...bland food low in fat can help too like sarah said...avoid carbonated drinks and gassy foods...chewing gum also can cause a "gas" overload...be safe

I lived on chicken and rice........very bland food for a good month.  Do you take prilosec or anything?  That helps my belly too.  Keep hanging in there.  It will get better.  IF it doesnt you may want to have it checked out.
