500 days!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello all my med help family...to the ones that don't know me, if it weren't for the wonderful loved ones here at MH, I wouldn't be writing this today. Here in the next few hours I will be celbrating 500 days clean and sober from a 4 year addicition to morphine sulfate and percoset. To Sara the poet of my heart..thank you I LOVE YOU...and to all others here that wroteand encouraged me during th dark days I LOVE YOU ALL..and can never thank you all for what you had done for me. I know I am not here near as much as I should be , for the 1st time in 7 years I am out living my life enjoying being alive again. Above all I thank my LORD JESUS..without HIM i am nothing.
Now please to all, I am not even trying to brag..the most of all I pray that this will help encourage others to see that it can be done and done sucessfully.
If anyone needs to chat or what ever please feel free to message me, I may not post all the time I do look in everyday to MH. It will be a apart of my life to I am called home..GOD Bless all...brian

Awww Jolly......It seems like yesterday that we started talking about pills.  You had many questions and you were so bull headed!!  You were so angry and ready to just throw in the towel.  There was something about you that made me just stick it out and keep bugging the he!! out of you!!!  I remember the day you told me you finally thought you had a problem.  I knew then that you were going to make it.  You started your journey and you havent looked back.  The growth in you has been simply amazing.  You searched long and hard to find you and by the grace of God you did.  I am so SO PROUD OF YOU my friend.....What a honorable man you are.  You have a new kidney and a new lease on life.  You are going places and helping others.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me share in your recovery and mine~~~Congrats on 500 days!!!!              much love, your poet, sara

thanks guys..I did with a lot of struggle I was in kidney failure and had 3 real bad weeks of WD..but thanks and help from the LORD JESUS and my MH family I did it...GOD Bless both of you..if I can help please please message me I will answere and try to help anyway I can...brian

Wow congradulations on 500 days clean that's great!!!! I'm on day 31. I've had plenty of struggles n the past month and plenty of temptations I have said no to.  But I can not take my sobreity for granted. Every day is a blessing for me. God has helped me to get this far. I've been very blessed. Congradulations again that's very encouraging. Great job!!!
