going thru heroin withdrawals

hi allits been a wwhile since i last posted but im backon the road to recovery im on my 2nd day im not sleeping and my legs are really aching iv kept myself on a very low habit and iv cold turkyed more these last six months than iv been stoned my body just can't take anymore punishment im 32 soon to b 33 but i feel so much older .
i really hate what heroin has done to me but i know i can still get the life back that i once took for granted these last 3yrs has just been one big nightmare attemt after attemt to get clean , i just know i cant go on like this im really at my wits end its nearly 3am now i cant wait for day break im thinking of forcing myself out for a wee walk sitting in this house im getting cabin fever .
thats why i love this site there is some great posts to read when ur feeling low to motivate yourself i dont post often but i do read posts all the time its great knowing ur not alone .

Hey there. sorry hear you are struggling again. on that walk why dont you stop by that bench! remember how that made you feel last time? stay strong my friend and keep your chin up! im around if you need to chat!

And that walk u mentioned may break the day for u...go for it...while u walk go faster and faster, releasing more and more endorphins that u need so badly right now

I've had the same type of dope habit as you where I just shot a little dope. Most people here are or were hooked on vicodin or similar pills  and don't know much about dope. At least you are not hooked on methadone and you should be fine in a few days or so.
