You need to contact a Doctor. A potential seisure is nothing to mess around with. Congrats on your decision to stop and good luck on you new journey.
Hey Ellen! You are doing the right thing by wanting to stop and tapering. I would suggest talking to a doctor and getting a taper plan or just some help in general with the WDs. They can do alot to help you, and we can support you here!
That's a good question. How long have you been on tramadol? I was given it 13 years ago for joint pains from lupus and told that it had a low potential for dependency. Wrong! But you are already seeing that, I'm sure. I tapered fairly quickly. (Then I was switched over to Subutex, which I only recommend as a VERY last resort.) Just go really slow and wait for your body to adjust before dropping again. (i.e. when you feel "normal") Everyone is different. I hope you haven't been on it too long, so your taper will be easier than mine. Stay hydrated and give your body good nutrition while you're coming down! There is alt of support on this topic on this site and all over the internet. Best wishes for a smooth taper!
Ellen we dont have doctors here so we can not give out taper schedules .I will say with tram slow taper seems to work the best give your body time to adjust between each drop. Exercise helps make it more bearable the worst part is the lack of sleep but it doesn't last forever ..hang in there you can do it
