just had a vasectomy 4 hours ago I took some pills before the %&#(# local even wore off....  Guess I went 5 days! <---- sarcasm...  just saw addiction doc yesterday and he told me about 4-6 months OFF vics to get my brain back to 'normal' ----   felt really guilty about my off and on ride w/ pills but he said I can do it and try to be grateful it's not as bad as it could be (but stop NOW)   My mom gave me some pills that say GG977 on them since it seems I won't have the pains meds for the ligit pain... what are these pills?

this is really not a procedure that requires pain meds..sometimes out ideas of pain are not in the realm of reality...ice it...motrin..u will be all new in the morning..be safe

Don't sweat it, use motrin, aleve, etc... most anything over the counter will work.
Just don't get up and around too soon!!! I had it done years ago and went right back to work, WRONG! ...........That took me a few days to get over, but if I had followed Drs. orders I would have been fine the next day.

Good excuse to have the wife "step and fetch it" for ya!!!

Your Doc is talking about PAWS....post acute withdrawals...read up on it....they can last a long time....up to 18 months for some.....the correct way to use pills when your an addict is to remain hospitalized and be tapered off of them before leaving...i was told that in rehab...that way u dont lose any clean time because its done in a medical setting....good luck and bags of peas is a great suggestion.

we dont id pills on the forum go to google and search pill indentifers there are many sites that can do that for you.Did he not give you pain meds for after or did you take them before .
